Bill Maher

I just watched Bill Maher on Larry King Live. I don't get his HBO show, so this is a rare treat. He tells it like it is, and doesn't give a shit about censorship. I don't agree with everything he says, but I do agree with a lot of it.

Anyway, he says that if the Republicans are portraying themselves as the party of faith and God, then the Dems should portray themselves as the party of science and reason. Hmm.

Maybe that's it to reaching the Anmerican people. When attempting to appeal to them, invoke the tradition of science and reason. Invoke Jefferson. Invoke Madison. Invoke Paine. Use language like logic, reason, science, and common sense when attempting to communicate with the larger US public.
